TWO LONG ROAD TRIPS FROM HAMBURG

If driving and exploring is your passion, we recommended two amazing road trips from Hamburg. One takes you almost 800 km across Germany, the other 330 km to Denmark.

Route 1 -    From Hamburg to Munich    

After enjoying a fabulous fish brunch at the historic market, let the family get comfortable in your Mercedes GLS and set off south. Your destination is Hanover, where you can visit the magnificent Great Garden of Herrenhausen and see the Castle Marienburg.

Continue to Wolfsburg where car lovers must spend time at the Volkswagen Automuseum. Continue south to the beautiful Black Forest area and stop for a bite in Freiburg. This area is famous for legends, cuckoo clocks and scrumptious Black Forest Cake. Now drive west to Munich where you can relax at the 5-star Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski. We will collect your car from here when you are finished exploring this amazing city.

Route 2 -     From Hamburg to Copenhagen    

Step into your Porsche Cayenne and set off north east for a one hour scenic drive to Lübeck. This charming Medieval city has an Old Town that is located on an island surrounded by the Trave river and channels. Stroll around and enjoy the architecture, then stop for a bite at the Michelin-starred Wullenwever. Back in your car, head to Rodby where you can explore the fascinating Amber Museum and watch the myriad of ferries arriving and departing.

Next is Zealand, where you must see the castles, Frederiksborg, Hamlet's Kronborg and Fredensborg slot. Then snap photos at the tall white cliffs on Møn that drop 120m vertically to the sea. Learn all about Vikings at the Viking Ship Museum. Your last leg takes you to the bustling city of Copenhagen where you will want to spend a few days exploring. We will meet you here to pick up the car.
