Route 1 - The Black Forest Trail

From Stuttgart, driving just over an hour westwards will bring you to the official start of the Black Forest Trail. A relatively short trail of 60 km, it weaves northwards along the Schwarzwald Hochstrasse, on route 500, to conclude in the nearby town of Baden Baden. In its finest parts, the road combines glass smooth sweeping roads that are slightly elevated just above the forest with dramatic switchback turns that trail into the forest’s undergrowth. Route 2 - Spreewald (Spree Forest)
