Then explore the Railway Museum and discover fascinating old steam engines. See a sculpture in the main station called the 'Terminal' by Richard Serra. It is made of four 12m high steel plates. Despite their weight, you get a surreal vision of lightness on every side. Back in your luxury car, head to Essen to the Zeche Zollverein, the most beautiful coal mine in the world. Travel onto Duisburg to view a massive inland river port and return to Essen. Enjoy dinner at the Schloss Hugenpoet-Nesselrode and we will collect your car from there.

Route 2 - From Dortmund to Oberhausen

Spend the afternoon in Oberhausen where you must see the Gasometer Oberhausen, the biggest disc type gas holder in Europe.
