TWO DRIVES THROUGH SOUTHERN SPAIN

Route 1 - Day trip from Valencia to Xativa and Alcoy    

Collect your majestic Audi Q7 in Valencia and head south for a scenic drive to the fascinating town of Xativa, a distance of 61 km. You cannot miss the massive and imposing Castell de Xàtiva that towers over the town. Take the fun tourist train up to the top or walk, depending on how fit you are! Explore the gardens, prisons and quarters of the infamous Popes.

Then see the Torre del Sol, a large Moorish watchtower that was built in the early 13th century. Have a bite to eat at the well known Casa la Abuela. The chefs have revived some forgotten local specialities like arrós al forn, an oven baked rice dish. Back in your car, head to Alcoy. This ancient town is known for its Christians and Moors Festival where marchers, dancers, musicians and animals fill the streets for three days.

Route 2 - Road trip from Valencia to Granada & Seville

Get the family settled into your all-comfort BMW X5 and set off on an epic 600 km journey, exploring the beautiful Andalucia region of Spain. Head down the coast to Benidorm where you can enjoy a swim at the Blue Flag Levante Beach.

Back in your car, stop at Alicante and explore the Castle of Santa Barbara at the top of Mount Benacantil. It is one of the largest Spanish Medieval fortresses, built by Muslims in the 9th century. Drive on to Murcia, still surrounded by a Moorish city wall. Spend the night here at the Arco de San Juan, a charming hotel close to the Cathedral and river. Next day, head to Granada where you can spend a few days exploring this famous tourist town. Jump onto a small red and white Alhambra Bus that will take you to the main attractions. To continue your journey drive to Seville. Eat tapas and watch an exotic Flamenco dance! We will collect your BMW X5 from here.
