DRIVE ALONG THE SPANISH COAST FROM ALICANTE

Route 1 - Along the Coast from Alicante to Denia    

Step into your stylish Ferrari 458 Spider and head north up the scenic coast to San Juan de Alicante. Stop for a swim on the glorious three mile long beach of clear blue water and golden sand. Continue to Benidorm where you can explore the Church in the Old Town. Stop at a local tavern and order tapas! Then stroll around the markets and buy some local cheeses and handmade pottery.

Continue to Altea, a picture-postcard town with quaint cobblestone streets waiting to be explored. Drive on to Pedreguer, a lesser known tourist town where you can climb the steps of the Ermita Sant Blais for panoramic views. Denia is your destination where you can enjoy lunch. This town is world famous for its delectable, rare and extremely expensive red prawns. Make sure you try some! We will collect your car from here when you are ready to return home.

Route 2 -Day trip to Santa Pola and Torrevieja

Set off with the family in your luxurious Porsche Cayenne and travel south to Santa Pola. It has beautiful sun drenched beaches where you can walk, swim and relax. Then explore the fascinating Salinas de Santa Pola, a natural park and protected area with an abundance of flamingos and stilts. Enjoy a delicious lobster stew, caldereta, at A Ca Santos. Back in your car, continue south along the magnificent coastal road, offering endless views of azure blue sea and pristine beaches. Stop in Torrevieja. Its name means ‘old tower’ as it was built around one of the old watchtowers that stands on the Costa Blanca coastline. Visit the Museo del Mar y de la Sal, the Museum of the Sea and Salt. It tells the story of the relationship between the sea, salt and the people of Torrevieja.

Then see the Cervera Cape Tower located in a magnificent park. Enjoy the picturesque views across the Mediterranean. Spend a few days relaxing in Torrevieja and call us when you are ready to return the car.
