Route 1 - Along the Almeria Coastline

Let the friends get comfortable in your elite Porsche Panamera and set off to explore the Almeria coastline. East and west of the city are hidden delights waiting to be seen. Head for the Cabo de Gata Natural Park along a scenic route filled with old windmills and Arab water wheels made from wood. Stop in the quaint fishing villages of Isleta del Moro and enjoy a lunch of freshly prepared seafood.

Then get a panoramic view of the coastline from the Mirador de la Amatista. Drive to Los Albaricoques, a village with a Wild West vibe that was the scene of many western movies. Then head to Mojacar Old Town, a picture-perfect white village perched on a hill. Stroll around the cobble streets and relax in the Plaza Parterre with a drink. End your journey in San Juan de los Terreros where we will collect your car.

Route 2 - Day trip from Almeria to Granada

Set off on your Mercedes GLE on a one-way road trip to Granada, a distance of about 170 km. Head south to the coastal village of Roquetas de Mar where you can enjoy a swim on a magnificent blue-flag beach. Then explore the Puntas Entinas Natural Park, a wetland and bird sanctuary where you can see flamingos, stilts and terns. Drive on to Alpujarras, an enchanting paradise located between the summits of the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean coast of the Costa Tropical.

Continue to Bubion, a quaint village with narrow streets and flat-roofed houses. Explore the small museum to learn about its Moorish history. Continue to Granada and head for the Alhambra, the most famous attraction. This massive fortress towers above the city and is described as ‘a pearl set in emeralds’ due to its colour and the lush green woods surrounding it. Plan to spend the night at the magnificent Alhambra Palace. It features stylish rooms with Moorish-inspired décor and a fabulous restaurant that serves traditional Andalusian food.
