Stop at Sigmund-Thun-Klamm and hold your breath as you look down into this massive gorge that was created over 14000 years ago. Route 2 - Grossglockner High Alpine Road

Driving the Grossglockner High Alpine Road in your stunning Audi R8 will be an experience to last a lifetime. This 48 km trip takes you through some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet as the road twists and turns through the Alpine mountains. Along the way you will find exhibitions and museums, huts and mountain inns, visitors’ centres and information points. Set off from Zell am See and stop at Lake Zellersee for a bite. Head into the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern and up the hair pin curves to an altitude of 760m into the very heart of the Park. See the world of alpine meadows, mountains, forests, endless ice and breathe-taking views. Stop at Edelweissspitze which offers unforgettable panoramic views.

Then drive to Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe where you will stand in awe at this majestic peak and view the longest glacier in the Eastern Alps.
