RECOMMENDED TRIPS FROM KITZBUHEL

Route 1 -    Day trips from Kitzbühel    

Climb into your stunning BMW i8 and set off to explore the region on a day trip. Visit the awe-inspiring Kitzbüheler Horn and go up to the summit in a cable car. Then take a drive to the towering Hahnenkamm, this spectacular mountain offers some of the best valley views to be found in Europe. Spend some time exploring the picturesque St. Andreas Parish Church. It features beautiful stucco work, ceiling paintings and 15th century frescos. Relax in the Alpine Flower Garden, home to more than 300 different species of plants from across the globe.

Back in your car, drive to the Schwarzsee, a little lake located just 3 km  north west of Kitzbühel. Enjoy a boat trip and a picnic on the shore. Then head 20km north to the small community of St. Johann in Tyrol, the scenic road is magnificent. Return to Kitzbühel for dinner at the Huberbräu-Stüberl.

Route 2 - Road trip from Kitzbühel to Vienna

After your skiing adventure, enjoy our fabulous road trip to Vienna, a distance of 375 km through the most beautiful Alpine scenery. Collect your Porsche Cayenne at your hotel and set off east to Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps. Learn all about the 500 year old history of the salt mines.

Continue to Salzburg. Music lovers must explore the city, it is the birthplace of Mozart and you can visit his house. Movie lovers will be delighted to see the setting of the Sound of Music. Take a guided tour and learn all about the making of the film. Do some shopping along  Getreidegasse, a long and narrow street running parallel to the river in the centre of town.

Then head to Baden where you can explore the small castle and traditional Swiss architecture on the banks of the River Limmat. Head for Vienna and plan to spend a few days discovering this fabulous city. We will collect your car when you are ready to depart.
