TWO FABULOUS ROAD TRIPS FROM VIENNA

Route 1 -  Along the Danube - 445 km

Collect your exclusive Porsche Cayenne in Vienna and head westwards along the magnificent Danube River. Drive to Wachau, a stunning region filled with quaint little villages and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Stop and buy some local apricot jam to take home! Continue to Steyr where you can explore the ancient historic centre. Pass through Enns, a Roman town and stop in Linz. Relax in the main square and admire the 20m high Trinity Column carved from marble before exploring the Linz Castle.

Back in your car drive to Schlögen where the main attraction is the Donauschlinge, a clear glassy lake set amongst lush green forests where you can enjoy a boat ride. Drive onto Passau on the German border where a candlelit dinner of beef fillet in flambéed cognac sauce at Heilig-Geist-Stiftsschenke is a must. Leave your rental car in Passau for pick up.

Route 2 - From Vienna to Salzburg

This scenic drive takes west to the Burg Liechtenstein, an imposing 12th century stone castle set amongst the green fields. Explore and then have a brunch of schnitzel, sauerkraut and Almdudler at the local inn.

Continue in your luxury car to the city of Melk. See the Stift Melk, an 11th century Benedictine abbey with beautiful Baroque architecture. Relax in the landscaped gardens with stunning views of the Danube River.
