WHERE TO DRIVE FROM TOULOUSE

Route 1 - Toulouse to Biarritz

Set off from Toulouse to the coastal city of Biarritz through the south west of France, this is a beautiful scenic drive of three hours. Collect your Porsche 911 Targa and hit the road. Travel through the magnificent Parc Naturel Régional and stop at Lourdes. This is a destination

of religious pilgrimages where the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous. Drive through the foothills of the Pyrenées and stop to take stunning photos.

Stop in Pau and take a guided tour of Le château de Pau, the birthplace of Henri IV of France. Plan to relax in Biarritz, this coastal resort offers a fabulous beachfront lined with elegant villas and heritage-listed residences. Route 2 - Day trips from Toulouse  to Albi and Montauban

After exploring Toulouse and taking snapshots of the iconic rosy-toned brick buildings, collect your premium Audi R8 Spyder and set off to Albi, a trip of 80 km through stunning scenery. This city is a Unesco World Heritage site that lies on the lovely Tarn River. It features the impressive Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile, the largest Cathedral built out of bricks in the world. The Cathedral also hosts a stunning art piece, the 15th century Last Judgement fresco that covers an entire wall.

After wandering around the town, get back into your car and take a short drive from Albi to the picture-perfect village of Cordes-sur-Ciel, perched on a hilltop. Explore this tiny Medieval town and then head west to Montauban on the banks of the River Tarn. This historical town was founded in 1144 by the Count of Toulouse. Relax in one the quaint cafés in the main square which is surrounded by impressive old pink houses. Take a stroll along the Rue de la Republique until you reach the river and the quaint old bridge, built in 1303!  We can collect the car from here or meet you back in Toulouse, you decide!
