MUST-TRAVEL ROUTES FROM NICE

Route 1 – Discover perfume in Grasse

Get comfortable in your Ferrari California Turbo and set off along the A8 for a 45 minute drive into the scenic hillsides north of Nice. Your destination is the beautiful city of Grasse – world famous for its perfumes. Your senses will be delighted by the amazing scent of wild lavender and the glorious purple fields that extend as far as the eye can see. When you arrive in Grasse, stop at the Café des Musées for brunch. Try one of the creative salads or indulge in crepes and chocolat chaud.

Tourrettes offers a quaint town centre filled with winding narrow streets and lovely old whitewashed buildings with blue shutters. Take a stroll and look out for the 11th century Church of Saint André and the clock tower that was built in the 14th century. Stop in a small open square and order a bite to eat at a traditional café while you watch the people passing.

Then drive a short distance north to view the Chateau de Puy, a castle that was built in 1830 by Alexandre Fabre. Tourrettes has a trendy artist community - many local artists have studios and small shops adding to the vibe of this lovely Provençal village.
