Wine tasting in the Champagne Region

Take delivery of your exquisite Lamborghini Huracan and head out on the A4, north east towards the town of Reims. The journey will take about 2 hours, a distance of 145 km, on a stunningly scenic road. Reims is the largest city in the Champagne region. As you approach, you will awed by the enormous Gothic Cathedral rising skywards. In this sacred venue, over 20 kings of France began their reigns. Park your car for all to admire and take a walk through the massive Cathedral.

Next, set off to visit the G H Mumm cellars, home to some of the world’s most famous Champagne. Taste the classic Cordon Rouge and learn about the 200 year old history of this iconic wine maker. Lunch is at Le Bocal, a concept eatery, which serves fresh seafood catches of the day.

Afterwards, travel to picture-perfect town of Epernay and visit the historic cellars of Cartier, producing world class Champagne since 1858. Learn how, beneath the streets held in 110km of subterranean cellars, there are over 200 million bottles of Champagne being aged. Pop the cork and sample some of this exquisite bubbly before driving back to Paris.

Travel to Chartres

Our next fabulous trip takes you 90 km south east to the lovely town of Chartres. Leave Paris in your open-top Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and enjoy the scenic countryside as you drive along the A10.

Chartres is known for the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Chartres, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the world. Take a tour and learn how the Cathedral has been a destination for travellers since the 12th century. See the Santa Voile, said to be worn by Mary at the birth of Jesus. Admire the 176 awe-inspiring stain glass windows and view some of the 4000 ornamental sculptures. Also to be seen is the famous Labyrinth and the crypt beneath the cathedral. Relax over lunch at Le Pichet, offering traditional French fare.

Now drive to the Old City and stroll around the steep stone streets lined with medieval houses. Follow them down to the River Eure, for lovely views and romantic bridges that span the water. Drive north on the D09 to the small town on Maintenon, about 30 minutes away where you can see the beautiful Château de Maintenon and the picturesque lake. Drive back to Paris for dinner at Allard, known for its beauty both in the décor setting and on the plate!
